An old wise monk was teaching his disciple about life. "A fight is going on inside me".
"It is a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil - our fear, anger, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - our satisfaction, courage, joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."
The wise man continued to clarify "The same fight goes on inside every one."
Despite his best attempt the confused disciple questioned to assert his understanding, "Which wolf wins the battle?"
The monk replied calmly and thoughtfully, "The one you feed more."
